子供や高齢者の方の場合、旅行運賃が安くなったりするか気になりますよね！日本に住んで30年の筆者が海外旅行者の割引状況を確認してみました^^
高齢者
残念ながら旅行者を対象としていない場合が多いです。ただし、運転手などが気を利かせて安くしてくれる可能性はあります。
多くの場合、その地域に住んでいる高齢者が事前に申請した場合のみのようです。
子供
電車
6才以下の子供は無料になります。切符なしで入場ゲートを通過出来ます。
6〜12才の場合は子供用の切符（半額）を購入できます。券売機で、子供用のボタンを押して購入してください。
バス
半額になるバスと、そうではないバスがあります。市街地を走るバスは大抵、半額になります。一方で、観光バスは半額にならない場合もありです。
電車もバスも、見た目で子供かどうか判断しています。
大人のような見た目の子供の場合、年齢を聞かれるかもしれません。その時は、12歳以下だといえば大丈夫です。
「12歳以下」は、[Junisai-ika-desu]と発音出来ます。
日本語で言えば、納得してくれると思います！
